Poster Fold Design

Using elements of hierarchy and typography, I was to design an informational music festival poster design to help convey different aspects of the music festival I chose to the audience. I wanted to highlight the performing artists, date, location and frequently asked questions as well as making it visually interesting. This project challenged me to consider placement of all the information considering what information was the most important within the hierarchal scale of the poster. Researching fonts as well to fit within the genre and vibes of the music festival, I found a font face that I felt went along with the techno vibe of the music festival. I also had to consider what other fonts would also go well with the decorative typeface that I chose.
