Bitmap Monogram
Crafting a modular geometric typeface within a monogrammed composition presents an stimulating design. My task was to use my initials to create a cohesive typographic form, all while adhering to a strict grid structure. I aimed to make my design visually intriguing as well as maintain legibility using different typographic design elements. During my process, I explored different weights and designs, as well as kerning and upper and lowercase characters. My previous design wasn’t very legible but was visually innovative. I wanted to keep that concept of legibility as well as keeping it visually interesting. Considering all these things, I came up with a stimulating design that fits within a monogrammed composition.
